Troy has been submerged in the automotive world his whole life. It was hard to avoid with a father who is an Audi Master Technician as well as a huge NASCAR fan. When Troy graduated from high school in 2002, it was no surprise he sought out a job in the automotive field.
Troy started with simple services like tire rotations and oil changes, but quickly learned how to do more complex maintenance and repairs. After over 20 years in the field, he has experience working on nearly every type of vehicle there is, from luxury sports cars to commercial diesel trucks and everything in between.
Since 2011, Troy has been honing his skills as a European automobile technician. He worked exclusively on Mini Coopers for 3 years at Mini of Sterling, in Sterling, VA, before moving to an independent European repair shop. There, he further broadened his experience with various European vehicles, though he still prefers to work on Mini Coopers.
Troy is not just an auto technician, but also a family man. He and his wife, Laura, moved to the Charlottesville area from Northern Virginia in 2014. Together, they have 3 boys. Troy's family loves living in the area due to the smaller city, endless activities to do, and the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding nature (and we must not forget, the disc golf courses!). Troy and Laura will both tell you, "We would never move back up north!"
